This track has been recorded and sent to me in the last few days, after the recent events in Ferguson, Missouri. The entire proceeds of the album sales will go directly to the Saint Stephen's Episcopal Church in Ferguson, specifically to help keep their food bank stocked.

Core members Rob Glover and Benjamin Holton, who grew up in Wheaton Aston, Staffordshire, formed the band in 1995 when the two school friends were only 13 years old. The band have released albums across various labels including Where Are My Records, Make Mine Music and their own Wayside and Woodland Recordings label.

Lowercase Noises is the musical brainchild of Andy Othling, a multi-instrumentalist, producer and artist from Albuquerque, NM. All programming and composition on Lowercase Noises’ albums are performed by Andy, with exception of the occasional guest musician or vocalist.

Lowercase Noises was birthed out of a small college dorm with very basic recording gear, a slew of effects pedals and an electric guitar. As Andy’s passion for and interest in the recording/mixing process bloomed, along with his talent for producing, songs and styles emerged that built the framework for what Lowercase Noises is today.

Lowercase Noises has an impressive body of work, all of which can be downloaded/bought over on Bandcamp. The latest offering, "This Is For Our Sins" is out on 30th April and you can pre-order now for digital and vinyl.

Christina Vantzou - Homemade Mountains

Christina Vantzou is a composer, artist, and filmmaker based in Brussels Belgium. Born in Kansas City, Vantzou maintained an acutely present musical interest all her life, but she gave little thought to becoming a composer. With a background in visual art she ventured into music first as a video artist / animator and later as the keyboardist and sometimes vocalist for the ambient duo, The Dead Texan.

Later, as touring member of Sparklehorse, Vantzou's interest in sampling, and unschooled orchestral composing peaked, and a force drove Vantzou to compose a full length album of post classical ambient chamber music. Vantzou wrote the orchestral arrangements on Nº1 aided only by a midi keyboard and computer software. Minna Choi of Magik*Magik orchestra transcribed Vantzou's midi arrangements into traditional notation for a 7-piece string, horn and wind ensemble.

This culminated in recordings sessions with Magik*Magik orchestra at Tiny Telephone studios in San Francisco. Nº1 was released by Kranky in October of 2011 and the album was accompanied by a collection of remixes by experimental recording artists and a short film made by Vantzou. Nº1 was praised for its mature resonant sound and hypnotic effect. Nº2 is currently underway.

Last Days is the music of ambient artist Graham Richardson, whose music explores personal themes of stasis and flux, escape and acceptance, security and upheaval. Drawing his moniker and ethos from the bittersweet emotions that often accompany periods of transition and loss, Last Days contrasts the intimacy of lonely field recordings and elementary instruments (a child’s accordion, a single repeated piano note) with cinematic shoegaze swells and complex, interlocking melodies created by the latest in digital technology.

Richardson has released three albums to date; Sea (), These Places Are Now Ruins (), and The Safety of the North (). The fourth release Satellite is due out on 15th September.

Johnnytwentythree is an instrumental rock band from Cincinnati, Ohio. They are known for their live shows in which they incorporate a sweeping set of music and live visuals. The band’s first album, “Thirty Pieces Of Silver”, was released in 2004. The album was essentially a soundtrack to a short film by one members of the group, Stephen Imwalle. The band’s second album, JXXIII (an abbreviation of johnnytwentythree), was released in April 2007.

I'm unsure whether these guys are still going, some beautiful music here nonetheless.Try to find a paid link to these albums, if not you can always resort to TheSirenSound.

Balmorhea (pronounced Bal-more-ay) is a minimalist instrumental ensemble from Austin, Texas, that was formed in 2006 by Rob Lowe and Michael Muller. The band cite the likes of Ludovico Einaudi, The Six Parts Seven, Max Richter and Arvo Pärt among their influences.

The band self-released their first album, self-titled "Balmorhea", in April 2007, and their second album "Rivers Arms in February" 2008, and released a limited EP in the fall of 2008. The group released their third full-length album, "All is Wild, All is Silent" on Western Vinyl Records. Their fourth full-length album, "Constellations", was released in February 2010 also on Western Vinyl. 

You can buy some Balmorhea over at Western Vinyl, and pick up a lovely live album from Sint-Elisabethkerk on Bandcamp. The below video is from a special remix album, which features Eluvium, Machinefabriek and Helios among its contributors.

They have also recorded at least four tracks under the alias group name, Hell Interface.

Boards of Canada's latest album entitled 'Tomorrow's Harvest' is set to be release on 5 June 2013 in Japan, 10 June 2013 in Europe, and 11 June 2013 in the United States.

Evan Abeele is one part of Toronoto-based Memoryhouse, who also releases ambient minimalist compositions under his own name.

The Lineage EP can be listened to and purchased at Bandcamp. The EP holds six beautiful, restrained minimalist instrumental tracks that have a similar ambience to Memoryhouse's music, but with a deeper element of classical composition and gorgeous orchestration.

Withyouathome is the solo project of Hayato Imanishi from alternative experimental band Cyclamen. By September 2011 he released the debut EP "...and the Moon Still Shines Quietly" and began to recruit band members for taking the band on the road.

The band released their debut album "Our Lives Are All Very Forgettable Events In The Universe" in 2012, available on Bandcamp digitally and physically.

Dorena is a post-rock band formed in 2007 by 5 guys spread around the city of Gothenburg, Sweden. The members have played together in various constellations since they were in middle class. Before starting Dorena in the fall of 2007, four of the five members were in a screamo band. When the singer decided to leave, Kim started to play guitar and Simon took over the bass.

All members joined in 2008 and turned into a full band consisting of Noppanan Panicharoen (guitar), Amornthep Masawang (Bass), Pongpat Phaukwattana (Guitar), Sirichai Chanmanklakul (Drums), Wuttipong Huangpetch (Piano, Vocal). The band’s music is composed of expansive melodic guitar based and ambient field recordings.
