Shodai is the work of solo artist Ryan Taylor, who started work on debut album "Horizons" in 2010. Citing This Will Destroy You and Cloudkicker among his influences, the album fits neatly into second wave post
rock genre; big swells and walls of sound combined with simple yet striking
guitar parts.
