Destroyalldreamers was a Canadian four-piece instrumental post-rock band from Montreal consisting of guitarists Eric Quach and Mathieu Grisé, drummer Shaun Doré and former bassist Michèle Martin. Their sound has often been described as a mix of classic '90's shoegazing with Godspeed You! Black Emperor-like aesthetics. They released two full-length studio albums, both of them on Montreal's independent record label Where Are My Records.

The quartet is known for their extensive use of effects pedals and for mixing elements of shoegaze, wall of sound and post-rock, which has had many fans categorize them as post-shoegaze. Although the group has shown interest in recording new material, they have been inactive since 2007 with its members pursuing other projects.

The Candlepark Stars is the pseudonym for composer Kerry Muzzey. The CPS encompass delicate piano riffs to warm fuzzy guitar backdrops that moves both the soul and the heart. First arriving at the scene with the release of their EP titled - ‘Very Big Sky’, then following up with a full length ‘Shimmer and Gold’, the ambient soundscape that they manage to create will have you lost in the clouds. Suddenly, all inanimate objects become remarkably beautiful. It is not hard to see that they draw influences from bands like Explosions in the Sky, Mogwai, and Eluvium. There is not much else to be said, but to have a listen and ‘get lost in the cinematic beauty of your everyday life.’

Mono's style of instrumental rock music is influenced by the genres of experimental rock and shoegazing, as well as by both the classical and contemporary classical periods of classical music, and also by noise and minimalism.

Mono's sound is characterised by the lead and rhythm guitars of Goto and Yoda respectively, both of whom make extensive use of reverb, distortion and delay effects. The band's live performances are noted for their intensity, both in the playing and in the dynamics.
